    For Interview posts, the mains exam will be conducted for 300 marks while the oral test carries 40 marks. Therefore, the total marks is 340. The minimum qualifying marks for all communities is 102 out of 340

    For TNPSC Group – 2 Oral Test , One Should Overcome the Prelims and Mains…..One’s the candidate passed the prelims and mains examination…..one should wants to ready for the Oral Test Examination. The Oral Test Examination will be Conducted for the maximum of [40 marks], which the syllabus covers the oral test is from school syllabus and from the specialized fields(Our Degree related subjects), and also from the current events which is going on around us.

    One type of paper will contain questions on General Studies (75 items), Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (25 items) and General English (100 items). The other will contain questions on General Studies (75 items), Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (25 items) and General Tamil (100 items). Candidates are given the option to choose either General Tamil or General English for answering the second 100 items apart from answering the first (75+25) 100 items on General Studies. The questions on General Studies will be set both in English and Tamil and the questions on General Tamil / General English will be set in the respective languages.

    The Preliminary Exam comprises of total 200 questions for 300 marks. The duration of the exam is 3 hours (180 minutes). It has 2 sections; The General Studies Section and the Language Section. The General Studies section will be in both Tamil and English.
