    JAM Eligibility Criteria mandates candidates to hold a Bachelor’s Degree. Candidates belonging to General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category must have at least 55% aggregate in Bachelor’s. The marks secured include all the subjects studied at the graduation level, without rounding off the marks.Candidates belonging from SC/ST category are required to obtain at least 50% aggregate marks, without rounding off. It will entirely be the responsibility of candidate to prove that he/she satisfies the Minimum Educational Qualifications (MEQs) and Eligibility Requirements (ERs) for Admission. Institute offering the admission has the right to cancel, at any stage, the admission of a candidate who is found to have been admitted to a course to which he/she is not entitled, being unqualified or ineligible in accordance with the rules and regulations in force.

    The Candidate must be an Indian national as well as foreign national will be eligible for JAM. The Qualifying Exam,Candidates applying for JAM must have bachelor’s degree as a qualifying examination degree. The Minimum qualifying examination must be passed with minimum 55% aggregate marks (in all subjects including Languages and Subsidiaries, all years combined) without rounding off.In case of grading system/CGPA, the equivalence in percentage of marks will be decided by the Admitting Institute.Candidates who will be pursuing the qualifying examination have to submit the proof of passing the qualifying examination to the admitted institute by 30th September 2020.There will be no restriction in the upper age limit for JAM.

    The eligibility criteria for candidates are they should hold Bachelor’s Degree. There is no upper age limit for the candidates.

    IIT JAM 2020 Eligibility: Category-Wise For General/OBC (NCL) category the minimum marks will be 55 percent marks or 5.5 out of 10 aggregate in languages and subsidiaries of all the years combined. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST and PwD categories must have secured 50 percent or 5.0 out of 10 aggregate.
